Role Overview
We're looking for a AI Developer (m/f/d) to join our development team in Portugal or Germany. You'll work on cutting-edge projects using modern technologies to build scalable, cloud-native solutions for our enterprise clients.
The Opportunity
Are you a passionate developer with a diverse skillset? Join our team to develop innovative AI-powered business applications. You will leverage your expertise in Python development, data wrangling, and cloud infrastructure to tackle projects such as:
Architecting and deploying diverse AI-driven solutions, including knowledge graphs, vector databases, and advanced LLM applications, utilizing robust cloud infrastructure.
Developing APIs for seamless data integration.
Contributing to other AI-powered initiatives.
This role offers the chance to work on impactful projects that align with Atlantic Ventures' mission. You'll collaborate with senior engineers, continuously learning and expanding your skillset.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior engineers to design AI-powered business solutions.
Develop data pipelines for ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and model integration.
Implement and manage functionalities for knowledge graphs, vector databases, LLM-based systems, and API development.
Conduct unit tests and participate in code reviews.
Develop and deploy systems to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Manage and provision cloud resources as needed.
Essential Skills
Python & API Development: 3+ years of professional Python development experience, with a focus on designing and building scalable REST or GraphQL APIs to support seamless data integration.
LLM Understanding: Strong foundational knowledge of Large Language Model (LLM) architectures and their underlying mechanisms.
LLM & AI Application Development: Hands-on experience in architecting AI-driven solutions, including knowledge graphs, vector databases, and LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), focusing on advanced document retrieval and skill-harnessing techniques.
Data Engineering: Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and model integration, utilizing both SQL and NoSQL database architectures.
Cloud Infrastructure & IaC: Strong proficiency in managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to provision reliable production infrastructure.
DevOps & Containerization: Advanced skills in containerization (Docker) and CI/CD workflows to ensure automated, efficient, and secure software deployment cycles.
Communication: Professional fluency in English (German language skills are considered a plus).
